Capixyl™ is a patented complex (Patent No. WO 2005/009456 – US7057719) consisting of a tetrapeptide and red clover extract. The main red clover isoflavone, Biochanin A, is an effective inhibitor of 5-alpha reductase types 1 and 2. Biochanin A suppresses inflammation by blocking the activity of pro-inflammatory cytokines. The lotion also contains salicylic acid and resorcinol, which together provide antiseborrheic, exfoliating, and anti-inflammatory effects. Placental extract and saw palmetto extract have hair growth-stimulating and anti-androgenic effects. Hydrolyzed keratin in the lotion improves hair structure, providing additional shine and volume. Indicated for prolonged hair loss and thinning. Not suitable for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
